I cant say I really remember the last time I got an important one. Although I did just get some good ones:

• one from Eharmony
• one asking if I would like to pursue being a nurse
• one telling me I won a dragon

(now that I think about it maybe they were all rather important..)

My mom wanted me to join eHarmony awhile back.  They rejected me.  Their rejection message is burned in my memory: “You are too independent for a serious relationship.  We have no matches for you at this time.”  x_x

So I keep seeing these reblogs about the girl Haleigh that posted a suicide note, then Tumblrs (somehow) alerted police and disaster therefore averted.

Well, now I’m seeing graphics of a celebratory nature about the situation, etc etc etc.

This makes me a little sad.  Why don’t we reach out to the people around us in real life?  To be honest, I don’t know that many people right now in my life.  But the ones that I do, I keep tabs on.  Even the ones I’m mildly acquainted with, I like to know they’re doing okay.

So, next time I see someone on Tumblr post something to the effect of, “this guy/girl I know was in a really tough place and I talked them through it, they’ll be okay but it was dicey”… I’ll reblog and reblog it until my fingers bleed.
